IntertranspedIA was established in 2000 and bought its subsidiary, Ytrans, in 2007. These companies provide single-consignment, part-load and full-load transport services to Central and Eastern Europe as well as to Turkey. Together, the companies currently have annual revenues of around MSEK 200.

“It is completely right for us to integrate our operations with those of CombiTrans and thus ensure that we will be even stronger in the single-consignment, part-load and full-load transport sector. We are coming to a professional, expansive logistics environment in which we will be able to continue developing well,” says Ingemar Andersson, the resigning CEO and former owner of IntertranspedIA and Ytrans.

Earlier this year, Norway Post bought Sweden’s Coldsped. The acquisition of IntertranspedIA and Ytrans helps to further develop Norway Post’s logistics services.

”IntertranspedIA and Ytrans are two successful companies. By combining them with CombiTrans’s resources and network, we will strengthen our logistics services to Swedish industrial customers,” says Mr Mejdell.

The acquisition is subject to the approval of the Competition Authorities.
